
It’s time for the 2021 Celsius Summit on the theme energy democracy. This year the Summit will be held online on 24-25 November 2021. The two half days will be hosted by the City of Strasbourg. Registration is now open for an interesting program.
How can cities ensure that heating and cooling systems are efficient, sustainable, and democratic? This will be the main question on the afternoon of the 24th of November and the morning on the 25th on the online Celsius Summit, hosted by the City of Strasbourg.
Celsius Initiative has the honour to present excellent keynote speakers together with possibilities to discuss energy democracy in the age of transition together with colleges in the field.
Keynote speakers
Ciarán Cuffe, Member of the European Parliament, where he is member of the ITRE (Industry, Research and Energy) Committee, Cuffe has written an own initiative report (The Cuffe Report) on maximising the Energy Efficiency of the EU building stock and is President of the European Forum for Renewable Energy Sources (EUFORES).
Julien Joubert, Project Manager on Energy systems and planning at Energy Cities, engineer with a master’s degree in law and environmental economics, he is handling projects relating to energy planning and district heating for the European association of cities in energy transition.
Julie Purdue, Engineer within hydrology and assistant general delegate of Amorce, a French network organisation for sharing knowledge and information on the energy transition, territorial waste management and sustainable water management.
