UK – Staffordshire – Mobilising the supply chain II – Heat Networks
Staffordshire is accelerating investments in sustainable infrastructure. This will in turn generate new business opportunities and jobs. But, what exactly are the technologies and skills required to take projects from vision to operations? And, how can training institutions and the local supply chain gear up to meet these needs?
At this follow-on session we intend to focus on the technologies and skills involved in designing, installing, operating and maintaining heat networks. The overall objective is to make the local and international supply chain aware of the investments in progress, and to describe how businesses can position themselves to the emerging opportunities. The agenda includes the following topics:
- Why Heat Networks Work – enabling decarbonisation and broader community benefits
- How Heat Networks Work – basic technologies, best practice and new digital solutions
- How to make Heat Networks work – basic strategies and programme management
- Securing capability in delivering projects – local training and innovation platform
- Bridging capacity gaps in the supply chain – driving business and investments
The session is organised in partnership with Staffordshire Chambers of Commerce and is offered free of charge. register@heatacademy.eu
